About Waved

Waved is an iOS app for discovering, sharing and listening to full DJ sets — Boiler Rooms, festival streams, club recordings, radio shows. Not clips, not highlights: the whole set, with the tracklist unfolding in real time as you listen.

What it does

• A feed built for sets — swipe through full sets with live audio previews, ranked by your genre taste and the artists you follow.
• Timestamped tracklists — every set is parsed for its tracklist on upload, so you always know what track is playing and can jump straight to the drop.
• Crowd track IDs — when a track is unidentified, the community proposes and confirms IDs together.
• Friends activity — see what your friends are listening to right now and join a live listen in sync.
• Moments — share a link to the exact second of a set ("you HAVE to hear this drop").
• Export anywhere — send the tracks you like to Spotify or Apple Music in one tap.

How playback works

Sets play through YouTube's embedded player — Waved doesn't host or re-stream any audio. Views, likes and ad revenue on the original upload stay with the channel that posted it.

Who builds it

Waved is independently built and is currently in early access. If something's broken, or there's a feature you wish existed, tell us — early users shape what gets built next.
